Chris concludes that this is definitely a historical reenactment actor who won't break character for the sake of whatever experience Mr. Daley has planned. It's a little weird but whatever, Chris can work with it. The Josh lookalike thing is the stranger and creepier aspect anyway but now that he's had a closer look he realizes (or convinces himself) the resemblance isn't as strong as he thought at first so it's not that bad.

For now he decides he'll play along, quit tomorrow, and never agree to anything like this again. A foolproof plan.

"Okay, okay, fine. I'm Chris. I'm a computer science major at NYU," he says. "History isn't exactly my thing but I figured if I want to design stuff, it wouldn't hurt to brush up on my knowledge of pioneering cultures, you know? Sooo...I guess that's why I'm here."
